Nigerian delegation breaks air embargo on Libya

Libyan television broadcast that a formal delegation from Nigeria arrived yesterday in Tripoli and penetrated the air embargo imposed on Libya by UN since 1992.
The television added that the eight-member delegation from Nigeria arrived at Tripoli airport on a Nigerian plane according the resolution of the Organization of African Unity that calls for partially ignoring the embargo imposed on Libya.
The OAU resolution entered the frame of application on September 10, 1998, although the UN sanctions committee condemned this decision during last October.
