Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi has received a message from Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir in which al-Bashir stressed the support of the Sudanese government as well as its support for all means of achieving reconciliation, stability and peace in Sudan.
Libyan official sources said that sides concerned in Sudan had informed Col. Gaddafi of their total commitment to what had been signed recently in Libya between a delegations from the Sudanese government and rebels.
The sources added that Libya will witness within the few coming days intensive meetings among sides concerned in Sudan with the objective of achieving reconciliation and putting an end to the conflict in southern Sudan.
