Qatari FM confers with US state official Indyk

Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jabar al-Thani met on Sunday in Doha with US Undersecretary of State Martin Indyk, currently visiting Qatar in the course of his Arab Gulf tour.
The Qatar News Agency said the two sides discussed during the meeting the latest developments in the region, the Middle East peace process and developments in Kosovo.
Later in the day Indyk arrived in Kuwait for a one-day official visit, during which he will hold talks with high-ranking Kuwaiti officials on the latest developments in the Arab Gulf region. In his visit to Kuwait, Indyk is accompanied by high-ranking officials at the US State Department.
