Jordan: No change in foreign policy

Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul Illah al-Khatib has asserted that Jordan's foreign policy would not change, following the appointment of Crown Prince Abdullah last Monday. On the possibility of an eruption of reactions in the light of this change, the Jordanian Foreign Minister said: "I do not expect any changes in our foreign policy. Ours is a policy approved and has been pursued for a long time, motivated by keeping security and the interests of Jordan."
