Japan offers $20 million to upgrade Gaza International Airport

The Japanese government agreed to allocate $20 million to upgrade the basic structure of Gaza International Airport and border facilities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The weekly news report released by the Japanese embassy in Cairo said this grant comes as a part of donations valued at $200 million which Tokyo intended to present to the Palestinian National Authority during the next two years.
