Kuwait denies Iraq fired a missile into its territories

A Kuwaiti military source has denied that Iraq launched on Thursday a missile against Kuwait and that batteries of the Kuwaiti Patriot missiles downed it over the Iraqi territories. The Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am quoted the source as saying in reply to rumors that Kuwait takes into account and follows up closely events taking place, adding that what had taken place was that one Iraqi radar flashed and was monitored by the US and Britain and then the radar was closed.
