Egypt participates in Istanbul meeting to prepare group of 8 Islamic summit

Ambassador Sayed Kasem El-Masri, Egypt's assistant foreign minister for multilateral international relations, arrived yesterday in Istanbul to represent Egypt in the meeting of the "Islamic group of eight", on the level of deputy foreign ministers. Egypt's ambassador in Turkey, Mahdi Fath Allah, said that during the two-day meeting, the participants will discuss methods of enhancing economic and commercial relations among the countries belonging to the group: Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia and Nigeria.
