Saudi dailies call for facing Saddam Hussein's behavior
Saudi Arabia, Politics, 1/28/1999
The Saudi dailies (which reflect official positions and/or sentiments) issued on Wednesday attacked the Iraqi government and called upon the Arab states to confront the "irresponsible behavior" of this government by adopting stern and tough stances against it.
In this respect, the Saudi daily "Okaz" said that Saddam Hussein will "realize soon that his threats will not give him longer chances to stay in power and that his adventures will be confronted."
For its part, the Saudi daily al-Madina urged the "Arab nation to help the Iraqi people in practicing their options and to get themselves freed from the Iraqi regime's oppressions."
