Syrian FM confers with al-Qaddoumi

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa received the head of the PLO political Department Farouk al-Qaddoumi on Wednesday in Damascus.
Present at the meeting were Deputy Foreign Minister Suleiman Haddad, PLO officials and the representative of the PLO in Damascus Mahmoud al-Khalidi.
Talks dealt with current developments in the region and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena.
