Tehran warns Azerbaijan against establishing US military base

The Iranian military leadership warned Azerbaijan against allowing the US to establish a military base in Azerbaijan in regions not far from border with Iran.

Iranian sources accused Azerbaijan's government of converting its country into a center of spying for the sake the United States and Israel against Iran.

The sources said they are accurately following up and pursuing the moves that aim at converting Azerbaijan into an American base.

The sources accused Israel of involvement in this plan, saying that the United Sates and Israel are approaching Iran's northern borders. They said Tehran will stand against U.S. and Israel.
