In a statement quoted by the UAE's official news agency on Tuesday morning, Sheikh Zayed added "Despite the fact that what was made in Jordan is an internal issue, our distinguished relations with Jordan make it necessary for us to reaffirm our total support and full backing to every step taken by King Hussein, because we are confident of his clear vision and farsightedness."
Sheikh Zayed, moreover, added that the UAE is studying means of supporting Jordan to "enable it to continue carrying out his national and pan-Arab role."
