Sheikh al-Sabah postpones visit to Jordan

Current political developments in Jordan have obstructed a very important visit by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad to Amman expected to have been made on Tuesday.

Instead, Sheikh al-Sabah returned to Kuwait following his participation in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers held in Cairo on Sunday.

Sheikh al-Sabah praised the results of the meeting and told journalists at Kuwait's airport that the Arab states will proceed in "following up what had been agreed upon (concerning Iraq) despite the withdrawal of the Iraqi delegation from the meeting, and its attempt to foil the collective Arab efforts made for the good of the Iraqi people."
