Iraqi paper: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia are to pay dear price for US-British strikes
Iraq-Regional, Politics, 1/27/1999
The Iraqi daily al-Joumhureyah (Iraqi newspapers reflect official positions) said on Tuesday that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will pay a heavy price for the raids launched by the US and British planes on Iraq.
The paper asserted that Iraq will continue real confrontations by all available means against the no-fly zone imposed by "brutal force" in northern and southern Iraq. The paper warned both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia that Iraq's anger will eliminate "the rotten heads," sooner or later.
The Iraqi daily called upon Arab peoples saying: "Sons of Arabism and Islam; you have to revenge your dignity, holy shrines, security, interests and sublime values."
