Expected loans for Tunis with value of 1,140 million dinars on 1999

Tunisian economic sources expected that the value of the loans and grants Tunisia will obtain this year will amount to 1,140 million dinars, including 130 million in the form of grants.
The sources said these loans will be distributed as follows: 880 million dinars in international loans in addition to 245 million dinars in bilateral loans.
Meanwhile the sources expected that the volume of foreign investment in Tunis would amount to 600 million dinars, then referring to a report from the Tunisian Ministry of Finance, the sources stated that the number of agreements ratified in the domain of international cooperation last year amounted to 40 agreements valued at 1,148 million dinars, 130 million of which in the form of unpaid grants.
