Japanese aid to Palestine amounts to $268 million

Japanese aid to the Palestinian governmemt through international organizations has amounted to $268 million dollars.
Meanwhile the news reports from Japan's embassy in Cairo announced that 11 projects for direct aid to Palestine were implemented since the beginning of the fiscal year 1995.
The report added that the priority in the domains of Japanese aid are upgrading human resources in the fields of health care and education, as well as humanitarian donations supporting the creation of permanent jobs for Palestinians away from the Israeli economy.
