Beginning the measures of manufacturing second Egyptian artificial satellite

Measures to manufacture the second Egyptian satellite, Nile Sat 102, have begun to prepare for a launch in the second half of the coming year to back up the first Egyptian satellite, Nile Sat 101, which is currently working carrying more than 60 Arab Egyptian and foreign channels.

The head of the board of directors in the Egyptian governmental company for satellite communications, Amin Basuouni, said that they will raise up some channels on the second satellite for bids, while the other channels will provide a resource for the company's expansion in the future.

Basuouni added that the satellite will be manufactured in France by the same company that dealt with the Egyptian company to build and launch the first satellite.
