International airport in Taba

The finishing touches and necessary technical settings for activating the Taba International Airport are currently being applied to inaugurate the airport soon to serve development and tourism in Sinai.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Minister of Communications Soliman Metwali stated that this airport will allow quick service and direct trips from planes coming from any region all over the world to tourist regions on Aqaba coast, at the top of which come Dahab, Nowibah, and Taba.

In press statements, the minister added that a main passage was established for take off and landing of large jets and a waiting hall for the planes that can house five planes, in addition to a building for passengers including all international services comprising 500 passengers per hour, as well as necessary technical systems for safe aviation, yet Metawli did not mention the date for the opening of the airport.
