Sudan refuses to extend cease fire with rebels in the south

Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Mostafa Othman Ismael said his country did not agree to extend the cease fire agreed upon between the government and a rebel movement in Bahr El-Gazal province, because Sudan wants to expand the range of the cease fire to include the entire south paving, for ending Sudan's long civil war.
He denied reports that Sudan is holding communications with the US administration concerning this extension.
