Egyptian report to top the G-15 summit

Egypt is going to take part in the summit meeting of the Group of 15 developing nations that will be held on February 10 - 12 in Jamaica.
The summit will discuss all issues concerning the international economic situation and methods of enhancing cooperation between the countries of the southern hemisphere.
Leaders of the governments of the 17 African and Asian countries belonging to this economic - political group are to participate in the works of this meeting.
Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Dawlet Hassan stated that before the summit, there will be several preliminary meetings, the first on February 4, between the trade and industrial chamber unions and the member states. A forum on investment, trade, and technology is to begin with the ministers of economy and trade, on February 6, as well as the personal representatives of the leaders of governments and states. These meetings will conclude with with the FM group meeting on February 8.
Hassan confirmed that Egypt is to take part with a report on the national interests of developing countries in globalization and by presenting suggestions for dealing with the effects of Asian financial crisis on the group's countries.
