Sudan expresses readiness to maintain dialogue with Eritrea

Sudan has announced its readiness to start a direct or through mediated dialogue with Eritrea in order to settle problems between the two countries. Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael has denied the accusation made by Eritrea that Sudan supports Ethiopia in the dispute between Eritrea and Ethiopia.
Othman Ismael said he hopes that "relations between Sudan and Ethiopia will restore normalcy in the coming phase." He stressed that there are serious efforts to find solutions to problems between the two countries.
