Lebanese Premier confers with two Qatari ministers

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss on Saturday received a delegation from Qatar comprising Minister of Energy and Industry Abdullah Ateyah and Minister of Trade and Economy and Finance Youssef Kamal. The two ministers were accompanied by Qatar's ambassador to Lebanon.
Talks dealt with means of developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
Following the meeting Ateyah said that al-Hoss called upon Arab and foreign investors to invest in Lebanon, stressing "his country's encouragement for further investment in Lebanon."
Ateyah also expressed his country's readiness to supply Lebanon with amounts of gas estimated at between one million to two million tonnes, noting that the price has not been fixed yet.
Al-Hoss for his part said that Lebanon has not yet taken a decision on purchasing the Qatari gas.
