Palestine calls for boycott of Jewish settlement products

The Palestinian government called on Russia, Japan and European Union to boycott products made in Jewish settlements planted by Israel in Palestinian lands.
In a statement released Friday after its weekly meeting, the Palestinian government praised the position adopted by the European Union in this regard. The European Union said it would not grant the products manufactured in the Jewish settlements any tax exemption.
The Palestinian government also called all countries supporting the peace process in the Middle East to urge Israel to respect the peace accords signed with Palestinians.
