Moroccan movies in Berlin film festival

Six films representing the new wave of Moroccan movies will be screened at the International Film Festival in Berlin due on February 11-21.
The movies are of Nabil Ayouche's thriller, "Mektoub"; "Femmes... et femmes" by Said Charaibi; "Keid Ensa" (The Artfulness of women) by Farida Benlyazid; the road movie "Adieu Forain" from Daoud Aoulad Syad; the comedy "Les Casablancais" by Abdelkader Lagtaa and the short film "La Falaise" (Cliff) by Faouzi Bensaidi.
"Morocco is the North African country which has an active cinematographic industry and a varied production marked by popular films having social themes," the organizers said Friday while unveiling the festival's programme.
