Jordan-Israel, Politics, 1/23/1999
A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that Netanyahu and Jordan's King Hussein have decided to meet soon, but they have not specified a date.
King Hussein returned on Tuesday to Jordan after six months of medical treatment in the US.
The last time King Hussein met with Netanyahu was in October 1998 during the negotiations for the Wye River accord in the United States.
In the statement the spokesman for Netanyahu said that King Hussein communicated with Netanyahu this morning to thank him on his wishes for a quick recovery, and the two officials agreed upon holding a meeting soon.
