Economic commercial talks between Egypt and Uganda

An Ugandan commercial delegation that includes 10 officials and 23 businessmen, chaired by Ugandan Minister of Trade Moses Ali, is scheduled to hold important commercial and economic talks in Cairo during its weeklong visit to Cairo starting on January 30.
The Ugandan delegation will hold talks with Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed El-Goweili, along with officials in the Ministry of Finance and Industry and Egyptian trade chambers and industrial unions, aimed at enchancing economic, trade, investment and industrial relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Egyptian African trade official Tarek Abass said that during its visit, the delegation will discuss methods of increasing the volume of trade between Egypt and Uganda and learn about the potential of the Egyptian market and opportunities for investment within the framework of the Ugandan market's needs.
Both countries are members of COMESA, the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa.
