Netherlands donates $240 million to Egypt

The Dutch government decided to allot $240 million for the Egyptian - Dutch development program for this year.

Sources in the Dutch embassy in Cairo said this amount will be specified for supporting projects for potable water, sewage, health, housing and the environment in general.

The sources added that this amount was specified according to the agreement reached in last October during the session of annual talks, in which the Egyptian side was headed by ambassador Mohammed Sherine Sadek, head of the European association sector in the Ministry of International Association, and Ronald Wedon, Holland's ambassador in Cairo.
