Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

The Lebanese resistance on Thursday afternoon attacked a force from the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia while escorting a bulldozer carrying out fortification work at the surroundings of al-Ahmadeyah position in the eastern sector in the occupied part of south Lebanon.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said its fighters used in attack appropriate weapons, and the attack resulted in destroying and burning the bulldozer and killing its occupants. The statement added that fires flared up at the site of the attack.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces on Thursday night bombarded the western sector and the western Bekaa areas inside the occupied strip of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said that Israeli artillery pounded at 7:30 p.m. (Lebanon local time) the outskirts of Barachit, Eita al-Jabal, Hadatha and Jabal al-Zaatar towns.

The bombardments coincided with heavy shelling and intensiveIsraeli reconnaissance flights over the southern Lebanese areas. Moreover, an Israeli tank shelled the areas of Jabal al-Zaher, Meimas crossing, Ein Fajour Farm and Burket Abu Rashed in the western sector.
