The process of collecting signatures for nominees in the early presidential elections, which are to be held in April, in Algeria is to begin today.
Every nominee is required to collect signatures of no less than 600 parliamentary members and local officials distributed among 25 provinces, or to collect the signatures of 75,000 citizens who do not hold public office distributed among the same number of provinces.
