Kuwait: Iraqi threats do not form a danger

Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Salim al-Sabah confirmed that Iraqi military reinforcements in southern Iraq do not constitute any danger to Kuwait at the current time.
He referred to the necessity of watching out and putting all possibilities into consideration, adding that Kuwait possess all means to enable it to handle any possibilities.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Salim al-Sabah denied that his country is shouldering any expenses from the allied forces in Kuwait, saying that the US and Britain are not defending Kuwait but are seeking to apply UN Security Council resolutions.
