1,452 investment projects in Syria

The number of investment projects related to the Syrian investment law issued in 1991 reached 1,452 whose investment value reached 324.64 billion Syrian lira, a statement released by the Syrian Ministry of Economy said, a copy of which was obtained by ArabicNews.com. The statement said these projects provided 94,000 jobs. The projects cover the fields of textiles, the clothing industry, packaging, dried food stuffs, paper, wood furniture, detergents, plastics and binding agents.
