Human rights organization calls for halt of media campaigns between Egypt and Iraq

The Arab Organization for Human Rights called for an immediate halt to the media campaigns between Egypt and Iraq.

The organization released a statement today under the title, "Serious Dangers of Iraqi Crisis Precautions," in which it warned of dangerous outcomes if the U.S. - British attacks against Iraq are renewed.

The organization asked Iraq to halt its official threats in reference to Kuwait that it said could reaggravate the problem once more.

The organization also called on Arab foreign ministers to take the initiative to resolve the crisis during their coming meeting and to try to find a radical solution for the current problems between Iraq and Kuwait, and taking Arab specified measures for the immediate uplifting of the UN sanctions against Iraq.
