Netanyahu for resuming negotiations with Syria

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that "following the coming elections we will renew negotiations with Syria." Israeli Radio quoted Netanyahu as saying in a special statement to al-Itihad daily published in the occupied Arab territories that the Syrian President Hafez al-Assad said he will evaluate the situation, "and this is what we rely on" to resume the negotiations with Syria.
Netanyahu went on, "I will have one million votes in the coming elections, including numerous Arab voices."
