Oman, Local, 1/19/1999
The oldest woman in Oman died on Sunday at 140 years old. Throughout her long span life, she enjoyed good health and had never been admitted to any hospital.
One of the old woman's grandsons, Saeed Bin Ali al-Obari, said that his grandmother, Nasra' Bint Marid Hamid al-Abari, used to use Omani herbal and local pharmaceutical products whenever she felt sick. He added that she worked all her life in breeding animals.
The old woman gave birth to several daughters and sons. Some of them died before her and the others are still in good health.
