Mini Arab summit to be held in Jordan on Wednesday

Diplomatic sources in Cairo expected today that a small summit meeting will be convened in Jordan on Wednesday and Thursday in which Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Palestine, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen are going to take part, in addition to Jordan.
At the summit, the leaders are going to discuss the Iraq situation and the Yemeni suggestion of holding an expanded Arab summit with the participation of all member states in the Arab League.
The sources told ArabicNews.com that convening the small summit within the presence of Arab leaders was to congratulate the Jordan's King Hussein on his return from the United States after treatment for cancer that lasted for several months.
