US - Palestinian - Israeli meeting in Washington on Wye implementation

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat has announced that a Palestinian - US - Israeli meeting will be held at the beginning of February to review the implementation of the Wye River agreement.
Interviewed by Israeli Army Radio on Sunday, Erekat said the Palestinian government called on the United States to investigate the extent of implementation of the Wye agreement and whether it had been implemented by the Israeli and Palestinian sides, alike.
Erekat added that the Israeli side is preparing claims on why it is not implementing the agreement and that the US has to find a mechanism to ensure that Israel will implement the agreement as it had pledged earlier.
