Drought announced in Jordan

The Jordanian government announced at the conclusion of its session on Saturday night that Jordan has been undergoing a drought as a result of a rainfall shortage this year. A press statement released following the session said that the Food and Agriculture Organization was informed about the drought conditions Jordan is going through.
