Bahrain hosts Arab song festival

During the vacation of Eid al-Fitr, Bahrain will host a singing demonstration of the "Fourth Orbit Festival for the Arab Song," which will be held at Bahrain's International Exposition Center.
The festival will start today and run through January 21. It will be attended by notable Arab singers and will last for the four days of the Eid al-Fitr. "Orbit " stations will broadcast the proceedings of the festival through its Arabic second channel, one of its 40 television and radio stations.
The festival will be opened by the Lebanese folklore heritage troupe "al-Layali" (nights) and then Arab singers Hassan Abdullah, Rashed al-Majid, Najwa Karam and Hani Sheker will perform their best songs. On the second day, Arab singers Ragheb Alameh, Ahlam, Wardeh, and Issam Aref are taking part. The third day will be highlighted by Kazem al-Saher (Iraq), Asalah Nasri ( Syria) and the fourth day will be concluded by Diana Haddad (Lebanon), Muhammad Abu and Adel Khamis.
The festival will be concluded by an opera commemorating the centenary (the 100th anniversary) of the foundation of Saudi Arabia. Arab singers Muhammad Abdu, Wardeh, Hani Shaker and Asalah are taking part.
