$100 million in agreements between Tunisia, European Union this year

Tunisian sources told ArabicNews.com that during the current year Tunisia is going to endorse financial agreements with the European Union valued at $100 million

This comes as the Tunisians and Europeans are to begin negotiations soon concerning the second part of the plan for European aid to the Mediterranean countries.

Official statistics said that European direct investments in Tunisia accounted for 65% of the country's total foreign investments.

Moreover, the sources expected that the volume of loans and donations in the current year could increase to $1 billion.
