Sudan's central bank to deal in the euro

Sudanese official sources said that the central bank of Sudan has begun to specify daily prices for the euro in comparison to the Sudanese pound.
The sources stated that Sudan's bank released a statement recently in which it called on local banks to open accounts in the new currency, which actually began on January 4.
The bank also said that the deals will focus on the European united currency and expected that it would compete with the dollar in the future.
The current price to buy one euro is 2,760.11 Sudanese pounds and the selling price is 2780.37 pounds, while the price to buy or sell one US dollar is 2391 and 2370 Sudanese pounds respectively.
