Tunisia to increase share in IMF
Tunisia, Economics, 1/15/1999

The Tunisian Cabinet headed by President Zien El-Abdin Ali decided on a draft law to increase Tunisia's share in the International Monetary Fund to enable Tunisia to increase the possibility of available withdrawals from the fund to finance various projects.

The Cabinet also examined several draft laws for financing development projects and investment for small and medium-sized enterprises in the industrial and service sectors, in addition to resettling the industrial regions, building and rehabilitating the desert and agricultural roads, and connecting villages to cities.

This project also includes the construction of 300km of main and secondary roads in nine Tunisian states.
