France for strengthening relations with Lebanon

The French ambassador to Lebanon, Daniel Juano, said on Thursday that high-ranking officials at the French Ministry of the Interior will visit Beirut in February to make contacts with Lebanese officials.
Following his meetings on Thursday with Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss and minister of the Interior Michel Murr, the French ambassador said his country "seeks to strengthen relations with Lebanon."
For his part al-Hoss said that he discussed with the French ambassador the situation in south Lebanon. He praised, "France's stand in supporting Lebanon to implement UN resolution 425."
