Five Israeli raids against south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces on Thursday renewed their aggressions against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery on Thursday bombarded al-Rafee mountain, and Aqmata farm in al-Tuffah district.

The bombardment also covered the course of al- Zahrani river.

Earlier, the occupation forces bombarded Zibqib, Yatter, al-Asi road, Hadatha, Eita al-Jabal and Haris areas.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes since early morning Thursday have continued intensive sorties at low altitudes over south Lebanon areas, breaking the sound barrier over al-Nabatieh twice.

Lebanese security sources said that Israeli warplanes were intercepted by Lebanese Army anti-aircraft fire.

Moreover, Israeli planes on late Thursday night raided Tallat Sojoud in al-Tuffah district and fired two missiles against the area.

Israeli warplanes on Wednesday carried out five raids against various areas of south Lebanon and its Western Bekaa during which it fired 21 missiles which caused no human losses.

Earlier, Israeli jets bombarded areas of Sujoud, Lweizeh, Zalaya Valley, Toumat heights, Neiha and al-Botoum mountain, whereas the occupation troops bombarded several towns adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment targeted the southern district of al-Sawannah town, al-Qeseyah valley and the surrounding of Khurbet Suloum. The bombardment also targeted Wadi Mermin, the outskirts of Kafra, Yater, Zibqin and Jib Sweid.

The Israeli occupation forces, on the other hand, broke into the houses of occupied Kfar Kalla town and arrested one Lebanese citizen and took him to Khiam camp. The Israeli forces also closed the Beit Yahoun crossing and prevented citizens from coming and going through it to the occupied part of south Lebanon.
