Iran calls for Arab-Islamic solidarity

The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Thursday issued a statement on the occasion of the World Day for Jerusalem in which it called upon Arab and Muslim states to maintain "unity and solidarity to counter Zionist actions."
The statement condemned the Israeli settlement policy, backing the militant struggle waged by the Palestinian people to restore their usurped rights and the establishment of their own independent state. The statement spoke of United States' unlimited support for the state-run terrorism practiced by the "Zionist entity."
