German investments in Tunisia reach 5 billion dinars

A recent study released by the German - Tunisian trade and industry chamber said that German investments in Tunisia reached 5 billion dinars, making Tunisia Germany's largest partner in the North Africa area.
These investments were focused on the transportation sectors, services, chemical and the electric industries. These investments occupy the third position in Tunisia after French and Italian investments.
The study states that 277 Tunisian - Italian industrial corporations were established at a cost of $223 million to provide 20,000 new work opportunities.
