National assemblage calls for solidarity with Sudanese people

The Sudanese Democratic National Alliance's leadership confirmed yesterday in its meeting with the Egyptian committee for solidarity its support for and solidarity with all people in Sudan.

In its concluding statement, the leaders called on Arab states and Africa to provide, cultural, intellectual and political support to the Sudanese people to achieve their legitimate hopes and ambitions in democracy, unity and, peace and stability.

The Sudanese opposition Nation Party's leader, El-Sadiq El-Mahdi, stated that his country is passing through hard circumstances.

He added that the Sudanese government has turned violence in Sudan into a social norm instead of the tolerance that had prevailed in the social structure in Sudan.
