Israel continues aggressions against south Lebanon

Israeli war planes on Wednesday raided areas in south Lebanon and the western Bekaa. Lebanese security sources said that Israeli jets fired air-to-surface missiles at the Leinai river areas in the western Bekaa, the surroundings of Zubqin, al-Butoum mountains and Toumat Neiha hills.

Since early in the morning on Wednesday, Israeli warplanes continued intensive sorties over south Lebanon and the western Bekaa flying over the capital, Beirut, where they broke the sound barrier.

Further reports from South Lebanon said that Lebanese resistance forces attacked the Israeli occupation forces in al-Ahmadeyah position in the Western Bekaa. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said the attack resulted in direct hits on a tank and its occupants and enemy fortifications.

Israeli occupation forces on Monday night and Tuesday at dawn bombarded using heavy artillery, the outskirts of Zouter East, Zouter west, Litani river areas, al-Hamra farm, Yahmur and al-Hafir valley from its positions in al-Shaqif castle and al-Zaffata. Lebanese security reports from South Lebanon said the enemy bombardment coincided with intensive machine-gun attacks fired by the occupation positions in al-Salaa and al-Qasir against the targeted areas.

Israeli helicopters dropped bombs along the Litani river and over al-Hamra farm.

Meanwhilee, the Lebanese national resistance on Wednesday attacked the Israeli occupation positions and the pro-Israeli militia in Balat and Teir Harfas in the occupied part of south Lebanon.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said it achieved direct and precise hits on the two positions. Moreover, Lebanese resistance forces also confronted an Israeli commando force while advancing on Monday at midnight toward the Alman, Khalleh, Rah triangle.

Lebanese resistance sources said its fighters clashed with the Israeli force for 15 minutes, using machine guns and rockets. Direct hits were scored on the Israeli force.

The resistance said that late at night, another Israeli group tried to support the first commando force in the area of al-Salaa. The resistance forces bombarded al-Salaa position and its surroundings, forcing the Israeli troops to withdraw. The Lebanese resistance said its fighters scored direct hits on the position and the Israeli force.

On Tuesday night, the Lebanese resistance attacked the Israeli occupation forces' position in al-Debshe inside the occupied part of south Lebanon. The resistance said its fighters attacked the position and direct hits were achieved.
