Algerian security forces move against armed groups

The Algerian daily Sawt al-Ahrar reported on Wednesday that two municipal guard members were killed in a bomb explosion on Monday in Bulvertoum district in Skikda province.
The paper added that one policeman on Tuesday night killed one Armed Islamic Group member in Felali area of Constantine province.
The paper reported that the woods of Movorno in Medea province have been witnessing vast mopping-up operations and heavy artillery bombardments for the three straight days after news leaked to security sources that there is a center for the Armed Islamic Group in the woods for almost 100 armed group members.
