Chief of UN development fund on women to visit Morocco

Executive manager of the UN development Fund on Women, Noeleen Heyzer, is expected in Morocco on January14 on a five-day work visit to assess the fund's actions in Morocco and enhance cooperation ties with Moroccan partners.
The UN official will review with several members of the Moroccan Cabinet and Women's NGOs the major contributions and achievements made by Moroccan women to social, economic and political life. The UN Development Fund on Women plays an important role in women's promotion and gender equality.
