Kuwaiti Emir urges his citizens toward austerity

Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jabir al-Ahmed al-Sabah urged the Kuwaiti people to austerity and handling economic problems to reach solutions to them.
In his address yesterday on the occasion of the last 10 days of Ramadan he urged his citizens to abandon exaggeration, excessive expenditures and luxury, adding that some of the Kuwaiti people are still acting as if nothing happened to Kuwait.
He also warned that the problems from which Kuwait suffers and the challenges are great.
The Kuwaiti government recently ratified a plan for economic reform that aims at reducing costs after the deterioration in petroleum prices which affected the Kuwaiti economy.
