Tunisia-France literature prize awarded

The Tunisia-France Literature prize has been awarded this year to French writer Albert Memmi and Tunisian poet Abdelwaheb Meddab.
The French writer was given the prize --set up by the French-Tunisian Friendship Association -- for his major contributions to the promotion of Maghreban literature in France, while Meddab won the distinction for his noteworthy literary works highlighting the Arab cultural legacy.
